I'm not sure what that black hose it though. Maybe a vent line?

 

Well, one black "hose" is the chassis ground...it's the other hose I tried to point out and the fitting right under the arrow.....it's odd that they would put such an adjustment on there like that....I know the left side is more open when the plastic is on but.....since you have to take the plastic off to plug check I don't understand why they made it easy to adjust the idle! Also, I was too scared [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] to take the carb off so I changed the main jet without taking the carb off

 

Maybe they were trying to make it up to us for the crap we have to go through to get to the plug[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] But taking the carb off really isn't that bad. Just remember what hose and fuel line went where. I don't think the manual shows their location. But it is one of those things that are good to do in order to understand your machine better. Dont be scared....Its only a Polaris[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
