1. Loosen your chain gaurd.
2. Loosen the 2 eccentric bolts on the axel housing
3. Loosen the rear brake caliper mounting bracket bolts
4. Use a 2 1/2" wrench (or a big pair of channel locks) to rotate the housing to adjust the chain slack to have 3/16"-3/8" deflection. OR Insert a pin punch through the sprocket hub and into the eccentric axel housing. Roll the quad back or forth to adjust the the chain slack.
5. Tighten the eccentric bolts to 40 Ft. Lbs (if you have a hitch) or 30 ft. lbs (without a hitch)
6. Double check you chain deflection.
7. Tighten the brake caliper mounting bracket to 10-12 ft lbs
8. Reinstall or retighten chain gaurd to allow 1/8" clearance between sprocket and guide
And thats it

Its really not that bad. Just loosen a few bolts, rotate the housing until the chain is in specs, the torque the bolts. In a nut shell
