Question for you US guys...
Hi Jakey it's great to see another Bama guy on here. Yeah..ya don't have to go too far north to find a Yankee. I'll call just about anyone a yank unless they're from Mississippi or Bama! I love living here and riding all the trails but I'm prolly moving to Concord,NH in a few months myself LOL(damn women!), at least I'll have my Chevy Scrammy and gun collection to keep me Southern. I'll miss Bama but snow riding might be fun hehe. Flew back to NH for a month with her once to see her parents and wow you can really tell how diferent we are. NH should be a lil easier then Virginia hehe they KNOW they are yanks there.

Question for you US guys...
Oklahoma is not true "south", but the largest civil war battle West of the Mississippi was fought here...so we are southerners. The term Yankee is kinda derogatory here as it is other southern states. I have 2 friends form up north and when they do something "different", we blame it on where they came from...."Their Yankees". I know it probably is not "politicaly" correct, but thats life. Sorry if I offened anyone , but I am a "Dumb Ole Hick"....and proud of it.

Yankee in today’s term (in US) refers to the Civil War. Someone north of the Mason Dixie line is a Yankee. Anyone south is a rebel. I have lived in Ohio most of my life but I lived in the south for 3 years. I never knew much about what a Yankee meant until I lived down south. It was never an insult in Ohio to be called one but it was if you were a Yankee living down south. The Rebels have passed this verbiage down from generation to generation. To be called a Yankee by a Rebel is supposed to be a real insult (if you’re a Rebel). It means to be a traitor for whatever reasoning. I think it was mostly from the Emancipation Proclamation (freedom of the blacks). They feel that we pissed on what they claim as being paradise on earth. They think we are idiots and what not. Because the North won the Civil War, we from the North don't spend too much time worrying about it but a Rebel never forgets. To the Rebels I knew in Tn., they think a Canadian is a Yank too, but I think its mostly in good fun.

Question for you US guys...
Well i agree with some stuff you say, however alot i dont. Sure, i believe in God, but i dont think somone shouldnt be allowed to live in mine or your country because they dont. thats part of being free, being able to belive in whatever religion or beliefs you want (within reason). Im not gonna say so and so is wrong because they dont beleive in God. I cant and shouldnt force my beliefs on anyone. And no one should be able to force they'res on me. Just the way i feel.

Within reason would be somthing like that. If somones religion says they have to murder, steal, or harm another person, then yeah..no place for that..but joe blow down the road who prays to budda quietly to himself shouldnt be forced to beleive in our god, only because WE beleive in them.
I agree..there is ALOT of crap going on today..theres been alot of crap going on and they'll always will be alot of crap. Is how we deal with it that counts.

Question for you US guys...
Yeah, but i cant say that either. My brother for example. He grew up going to church, sunday school..the whole 9 yards. he doesnt currently beleive in god. Hes not a bad a$$, never owned a gun, never been arrested, hes a good kid. However he chooses not to beleive in god. I dont think he should be discriminated agaisnt because of it. I know a few people that have never gone to church or anything, they dont beleive and they're nto criminals. I dont think religion is the answer to everything, as i know of a few people who go to church on sunday, but will lie and steal from you on monday!
Judge the person based on the person, not on their beleifs..
