Default scrambler 500 exhaust

Yeah its a tiny tach i got it from www.northerntool.com its simpal to insall all you do is wrap a wire around the plug wire the other wire gos to a good ground your done its also a hour meter... i think i was $43 w/ s/h let me know if you have trouble finding it!!

Is this the one? How well does it hold up to the off road abuse, such as mud, water, vibrations? BTW, is it waterproof? How big is the LCD screen. Is it easy enough to see while riding? Thanks. I think I may have to order one.

Yeah thats the one, it holds up really nice i would have to say its water proof cause when me and my bud went riding in mich i sunk my scrammy and the tach was under water for about a 1min or so and still works fine you can see it when riding the lcd screen is a nice size "i dont know the exact measurements off hand" I think its pertty accurate, I made a bracket that mounts were the head light grad bolts too out of aluminum...
I could not believe that at like 45-50mph it runs at 5,600 or so....

i was only thinkin about that kit because im tryin to get my quad lighter and to get to speed faster . is there any other mods that i should do that i don't already have? cause i wanta race in the here scrambull's around localy .

im jw why did u guys go with the hpd setup? and im wouldering what shocks and sturts to get but i don't really have alot of money so i was thinkin about getin a hsp spring kit set up ?

I went with it for a few reasons. 1. It is cheaper than the Hot Seat stuff. 2. It looks better with the nickel plating. 3. HPD has great service with great parts and they can back up what they claim with dyno sheets. As for struts, I would get the Works struts. Then if you have extra money left get the HSP springs.

Same here i think hpd has the best bang for your buck! Big Bad those pics are cracking me up...lol
