Default scrambler 500 exhaust

Hey, I went riding for the first time yesterday with the new powermaxx exhaust kit on my scrambler. Is it just my hearing or does the sound of this pipe change once it ran for a while and heats up? To me it sounds differant then when I first started it after installing the pipe. Either way I like the way it sounds now. The bike really performs well with the new pipe and clutch kit. Only thing left to do is the airbox kit.

It does sound a little different when you are moving. But listen to from behind or with someone else riding and it sounds real nice. It is loud but not too loud. Also, don't be surprised if it occansionly pops after letting off the throttle from riding it wide open for awhile. I have been told that a lot of free flowing exhaust do this (even my Harley does it). But the air box kit will help let more air in now that you are letting nore air out. I know, Im costing you more money

Yes you are BigBad but dats alright. The airbox kit is it for the Scrambler, no more mods after that. Unless I get dusted by this dang Prairie 650. If he wins the drag race I may go even further with the mods. I really don't feel this will be necessary though.

The front end will come up a lot easier. Since it is piped, you need to match the power curve of the engine with the pipe to the clutch. That is what a clutch kit does. Since you have the Hot Seat pipe, you should get the Hot Seat clutch kit cuz it is matched to their pipe. It is best not to match pipe/clutch mods with different companies. The clutch kit will make a big difference. You won't gain more top end speed, jsut get there faster It will make the clutch engage at around 2000RPM (?guessing?) That really helps with wheelies

With a clutch kit it will be hard to keep the wheels down its worth the money!!!! on my tach it engages at 2,200rpm...
