Default Predator Ball Joint Removal

I have not done any Preds, but looking at the parts diagrams - it's very similar to other makes.

To remove the knuckle, disconnect the shock, remove the upper and lower ball joint nuts - take 2 good sized hammers - place 1 on the bottom front part of the knuckle where the ball joint goes through (acts as a backup), use the other to hit the rear side part where the ball joint goes through (you can switch around if swinging area is better from the front) - the ball joints are tapered and this will "pop" them out, but it make take a few swings to accomplish. Removing the wheel hub and rotor may make it easier to access.
Do the same for the upper ball joint. They do make a tool to "press" the ball joints loose from the knuckle if you want to spend the money (it only works on 2WD quads)

If you are changing the ball joints - remove the arms, I use a hydrolic press and a set of 3/4" drive sockets to find a size that the ball joints just fit inside - press 'em out, press the knew ones in. Don't forget there is a retaining ring holding the ball joint in the arm.
