btw has polaris fixed any1's machine out or warrenty.. i missed it by 18 days... i shoulda beat it harder when i had the chance i guess..

 

Man that sucks, Was there any warning befour it blew? You would think polaris would have tested the preds really good befour they came out!!! and fixed it i guess their test riders are 6 year olds...

 

well i posted about a week ago that it was shifting loud and i found more metal in my oil than normal... it didnt blow that day i rode so i figured the noise was in my head...
went around the track 2 times today and went to drag my buddy... hit 3rd and it fell on its face making funny noises...

 

I have heard of Polaris covering the trannys out of warrenty. Hopefully your dealer can help you out on this one. Did you lose all your gears?

 

well just 3rd... my buddy is a mechanic at my dealer... and i am good friends with every1 there... ive called them at home and told them it will be fix w/o me paying. we will see what happens. but if they dont hozed is gettin a 450 or a raptor... atleast ill try like hell too.

 

If you go with the raptor you'll just have to deal with leaking oil and coolant, instead of bad tranys.

 

id rather have a 450... my buddy has one and i just cant get comfy on it... it feels way to small and the stiff throttle kills my thumb... all stuff id get use to i supose... ive never rode a raptor to be honest... but i know they are obviously good quads.

 

Correct me if im wrong but i seem to remember raptors having bad trannys.

 

01s did yamaha fixed it for 02....

 

ya and polaris said they fixed it in 04... if they didnt then they arent gonna sell many of there.. i mean... there r nice... but if **** keeps breaking then no1 is gonna buy em.. every1 already thinks polaris sucks enuff... polaris is giving them reasons to say it too.
