Thinkin' about pickin' one of these up for the little woman to putt around on.Think it will make a good mate to my YFZ?She says her '01 300ex ain't got enough power and seems pretty " easy to roll" compared to mine.My thinkin' is that the Pred will handle much better, will be more stable and with the extra weight might keep her outa trouble. She is not a hard rider and the only time she ever rides hard is on a long, wide open straight. What do ya all think?

The Pred and YFZ would make a great couple. Watch out though or she may give you a run for your money

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm hopin' for.I also figure if I trash mine,I'll still have a real nice bike to ride(if she'll let me)while I'm gettin' parts to fix mine.
We went and looked at one this past weekend. It was the first one that either one of had seen in the flesh. We both agreed from all the pics and after seeing this one, that it was probly the best looking front end of any quad. The guy at the dealership even offered me a test ride when I come back to wheel and deal. That in itself is pretty rare around here.Think I'm gonna wait for the '04 though.Course she wants the Troy Lee model(women).

The Pred is a nice quad. Last year when they first came out I was set to get one for my wife. I took her to the dealer and she loved it. Just before we were ready buy it she asked "Where is reverse ?" When she discovered it didn't have it, she didn't want it. She recalled too many time when having a reverse gear saved her from getting stuck. We ended up with a Z400. The Wife loves it and I was surprized with it's power and handling. I could have lived without reverse and would have loved to have the Pred. however, for a quad that the wife can ride, the Z was a good choice.

I think I've only seen her use reverse on the Honda maybe twice. The places we ride, even the trails, aren't too tight. She doesn't have many problems with spinning them around. That's why I think the lower center of gravity will be even better for her.Not to mention her 300ex always wants to dump her off at the top when climbing hills. She's also tired of getting 'roosted' by me and my friends on their Z's.When we get the Pred it'll probly be payback time for us.
