Anyone who votes for Gore does not deserve to own a firearm or ATV, period & if it were up to him you wouldn't.

Voting was originally intended to be picking the best man/woman for a position. It has come down to picking the lesser of two evils. It is pretty clear that Bush is definitely better than Gore. I do not think this country can stand four years of his liberal ways. Bush is not perfect, but he will defend the right to hunt and ride atv's, and thats the most important to me.

Either way, register to vote.

Rangerchet I understand you being torn between what you think is keeping nature nice and surene. I live in Alaska and think thats real important also. When you get down to where the rubber meets the road, my worse fear is these liberals taking all of our rights aways very slowly, one step at a time. Before we know it we won't be able to use any Lands at all, then we might as well be hermits at home and junk our atv's. No body else would want to buy them anyway, (can't use them no where). Same thing if you like to hunt, before its over with we won't be able to own any guns hunting or other. They just don't know when to stop. I own an Arctic Cat and most of you guys have Polaris's, but if we don't stick together and vote the right people in it won't matter who owns what. I still want rights. These federal land they are talking about belongs to all of us not just enviromentalist. Bush for President (PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS)!!!!!!

It baffles my mind. Democrats are liberal, which I am. And that states that I believe in people's rights. Okay, so what's up with Gore? Is he some kind of Consiberal? I mean, taking away riding priviledges of hundreds of thousands of people isn't being liberal, it's being conservative.Although I believe Gore would be a better President than Bush, his conservative plans are losing voters. But,as far as voting goes, don't let a planned trail closing depict whom you vote for. There are (gulp) more important things to us as a people and a country than ATVing. So pick the best man for your national leader. 'Nuf said.

I agree with your point somewhat. I used to vote Democratic as they tended to stand for the common American. Somewhere along the line (seemed to be the last seven years), the Democratic party has sided with the Liberal groups such as the environmentalist and the anti hunting groups. I do not think these groups stand for the common American and I will not vote for any candidate that supports their agenda's. Voting boils down to protecting what you care about. I like to hunt, ride, and shoot firearms. In the last seven years, all of these have come under fire from the democratic party. Would JFK (a democrat) have tried to take hunting rights away from any American? I seriously doubt it. Would slick ***** and Al Gore? I would say yes. As long as the Democrats want to side with these radical groups that want to attack individual rights, I will continue to side with the Republicans.

Australian's were forced
to
surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be
destroyed, a program
costing
the government more than $500 million
dollars.
And now the results are in: Australia-wide,
homicides are up 3.2
percent; Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6
percent; Australia-wide,
armed
robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44
percent). In the state of
Victoria,
homicides with firearms are up 300 percent.
Figures over the previous
25 years show a steady decrease in armed
robbery with firearms
(changed
drastically in the past 12 months). There has
been a dramatic
increase
in break-ins and assaults of the elderly.
Australian politicians are on the spot and at
a loss to explain how
no
improvement in "safety" has been observed
after such monumental
effort
and expense was successfully expended in
"ridding society of guns."
Bet
you
won't see this data on the evening news or
hear your governor or
members of the state Assembly disseminating
this information. It's
time
to
state
it plainly: Guns in the hands of honest
citizens save lives and
property
and, yes, gun-control laws only affect the
law-abiding citizens.
Take note, Californians and other Americans,
before it's too late!

Point taken...
I've voted Democratic.. (ex. Nixon) because of my affiliation with labor ...local 61 painters !!
My job comes 1st and Bush and the Republicans still don't get it! I've joined a local 4 wheeler club as well as BLUE RIBBION and if GORE does some how win...we'll work hard to insure he doesn't believe his agenda is universally accepted...same if Bush wins...the important thing to remember is to Vote ....and to stay involved !!
TO BITCH AND NOT VOTE IS CALLED WHINING!!!
Minnesota leads the nation in voting % !!
Vote Jesse ..and really screw the establishment!!!!!

>> Subject: Thank you note

>> Dear Mr. President:
>> I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for

Make sure you vote for more then president. If you vote for Bush, but don't pay attention to congress we could end up with a congress that can do whatever it wants by overturning every veto. In effect Bush would then sit in office trying to hold the line for us Gun and ATV owners (amoung other issues) but unable to do anything because he is overruled!

Make sure you vote for the right person as your congressmen. (Pay attention to state and local goverments too.

While Ventura sounds like a good selection, if you pay attention to what he is doing you won't like him any more then anyone else. Is he better then MN's other two choices? I'm not sure (not like we had any good choices). I know that he supports many things I disagree with, and I support things he disagrees with.

There is no way to have a goverment that I like perfectly under this consitituion. If you allowed me to select every congressmen, the president, and had all the judges resign I could come close, but even then I wouldn't like the goverment.

A vote for a third part is not wasted (I'm talking about a third party that has no chance), but beware that while you vote for someone who is 80% on your side over the major party canidate who 65% on your side someone else is voting for the major canidate that is only 20% on your side.
