Best Big Bore Sport Utility ATV: Polaris Sportsman 600

Presented to the candidate producing a vehicle which best fulfills the demands of Big Bore Sport Utility Class consumers in the areas of value, quality, features, performance, ride, comfort and handling.

Runners Up (in no particular order): Kawasaki 700, Grizzly 660, Honda Rincon

This tightly competitive class produced more disagreement than any other. Why? There was so little room between best and last in this category, we could easily have justified any of these contenders receiving the award.



Best Sport Utility ATV: 400cc to 500cc - Bombardier Outlander 400 HO

Presented to the candidate producing a vehicle which best fulfills the demands of Sport Utility Class consumers in the areas of value, quality, features, performance, ride, comfort and handling.

Runners Up (in no particular order): Polaris Sportsman 500, Suzuki Vinson 500, Honda Rancher 400

This tough segment encompasses the greatest number of ATV customers shopping for iron. It’s where the pricing and feature list equation is critical.

Many here excel in one or two categories but few over-achieve in all. In a recent All-Terrain Vehicle shoot-out, comparing four ATVs in this class, Bombardier’s Outlander 400 impressed everyone.

Its supple ride, excellent engine and incomparable feature list, wrapped around a surprisingly low price tag, made this our top choice in this competitive class.

whats the difference between the 6 and 700.. nothing except the 700 is faster right.. so why didnt that win?

what you say is true. the reason i think it won was because of value. the 700 is about $600 more than the 600, and its kinda hard to justify the price if there is that little different about them. but for the hard headed people like myself, bigger is always better, even if bigger is almost the same.....lol

 

The 700 didnt win beacause it is a common known fact that it is the biggest baddest quad out there, nothing else from any other company is even comperable engine wise. Therefor they figured the sportsman 600 is the closest to the other makes from Companys like Yamaha such as the Grizz 660.

 

i dont thank you can really say that the 700 is badder than the sp600, , i know my sp6oo will hang with any 700 on any given day.
