From what i have seen is the pred is pertty fasy faster then most of the lager cc quads...

Really the only advantage the 450 has over the pred is weight. The predetor will easilt outhandle a 450. The pred top speed with no mods is 76mph. about 2mph faster than the raptor. No way the 450 is going to go that fast without any mods. I have not seen one beat a predetor yet.

the 450 handles very well for its width probably better than the pred since the ***-end stays instead of flailing out... i also heard the pred goes 76 stock... raptor is 74.. and the 450 was around 71 or 72.. but who knows.
the 450 is a better race machine and is faster it the first few hundred feet... but ive heard most past it after 300.. stock that is..

Its good to see that Polaris is stepping up to the plate and fixing their mistakes. More than what you can say about other first year quad trannies

ya but the guy was said... "its operator error... shifting with out the clutch.. and power shifting..."
my buddy at the dealer replied... "well how many racers do you think take the time to use the clutch while racing.. this is a race quad and was supose to be made to be beat"

The pred can see speeds between 72-75mph depending on rider size and terrain. I wouldn't say at all that the pred is a better handler than the yfz. The weight in itself makes for easy handling characteristics. Granted, I really miss my pred's steering for the tight turning, but the back end of the predator is extremely hard to keep planted in corners unless you ride the outside line, and sometimes, your opponent is there, and you need to get him inside...the pred never gave me that option to gain a position...it's still in my possession and for sale.

So pudljumpr you like the 450 better? I think they look cool except for the seat. It seems really narrow. Not something that can be comfortable. I have not driven one yet. I have driven a predator many times and I think it handles very well unlike anyother quad. The 450 has the right idea. Smaller displacement with more powerand lighter weight. now if they had some revolutionary steeering like the predator then it would be a perfect quad.
