which way does the piston go in the 400? help

Default which way does the piston go in the 400? help

Ok
i got the wiseco piston for my 400 and im my haste i didnt take notice of which way the holes in the piston faced and now im stuck. can someone let me know which way they go. im assuming they face the intake side as taht side has almost matching 2 passages but i wanted to make absolutely sure before i go put it topgether

You are correct ,they go towards the intake side.

There should also be a mark on the top of the 2 stroke piston that will point to the Exhaust ( 4 stroke piston tops usually have an IN mark that goes towards the Intake).

A shop rag stuffed in the cylinder hole around the connecting rod will prevent the flying wrist pin circlip from falling into the crankcase.

there should be an arrow on top it goes toward the exhaust hope this helps
