I read on Highlifters site that some people have used a dremmil to smooth out their intake ports? Anyone see a problem with this? How should I go about doing it? Also, do you think I would see a gain if I were to smooth out the intake manifold? I am also looking into the WEB cam. It is only $155 with a $175 core charge and uses the stock valve springs. Possible Aaen's 42TMX carb. Maybe a H.C. piston too. Does HPD carry H.C. pistons for the 500's. I know that don't have them on their site, but someone told me that they got a 11.5:1 piston from HPD. I would still like to find a sleeve and matchinh H.C. piston for a big bore.
