I've got the tires....AWESOME in the muck and mud. Good on hard pack. Decent on gravel, the big spacing between lugs lets the tires slide around. They wear easy on pavement. 6-ply rocks!

You won't be disappointed!!!

I've got 28" Mudlites, so far no complaints. Can't seem to get it stuck in mud, got stuck in 2 feet of icy snow twice last winter, but due to a shortage of ground clearance, not lack of traction. I like the light weight and the good handling, but I can't help but drool when I see 28" Vampires! Mine are pretty aggressive looking, but look wimpy next to some Vamps or EDLs. I had to put spacers in front to clear the tierods, which gave me a really wide stance, which is cool. I'd like them in the back too, but too much money for something I dont need. I got the HL spacers, they're real nice. I wouldnt recommend using the kind that are just extensions on each individual stud. They scare me.

How much difference would I see. I just bought my 600 sportsman and am looking to upgrade a few things. Should tires be the first thing. I have an 03 with the goodyear rawgrips. They seem to be awesome now.

Rawhide grips are awesome! You're lucky you got them before they went to the Sally tires they have now. They only reason to change your tires would be to go taller. I wouldnt bother going up one size, because 26s are only a little bigger and wont make any noticeable performance difference over the Rawhides. I would go 27 or 28 for the ground clearance, if thats what your into. I definitely am, I like to dive into the deep mud whenever I get a chance. I also like straddling obstacles that everyone else has to go around. 17 1/2 inches of ground clearance is a good thing!
If you dont feel you need more ground clearance, stick with the Rawhides and go with a clutch kit. I'm told Heelclicker makes the best one for the Sportsman. Thats what I'm going to buy next time I have the extra money. (extra money, what the heck is that?)
Oh, and if you don't have a winch, get one. That is probably the single most important ATV accessory there is. I use mine nearly every time I ride.

First I have to say to 600twinmd, keep your rawhides. they are great tires. second, this may be a dumb question, but what exactly is a clutch kit, and what does it do?
