i am looking to buy at 98 tb 250 for $500. its been sitting for about a year has a full pipe and has been bored 0.20 over. the guy im thinking about buyin it from is a good friend so i know he wouldnt screw me but he thinks with the increased compression it keeps blowin head gaskets. is there a fix for this cuz its in great shape hes just tired of messin with it. i have done some searchin on this subject and i have come up with that it may be a jetting problem but i got no clue. if its not a jet issue i was thinkin if i could get a dished piston to lower the compression to fix it. im not worried about speed cuz i have a 03 kfx 400 i just want it for some trail riding. some help from someone with some experience on this subject will help alot.
