that was asking what you all think on the HMF pipe, and you said somethin about like how it doesnt work well with aftermarket motor mods, so im trying to get opinions on whats best overall, instead of opinions on the HMF hehe.

I have heard about the Big Gun on other brand machines having problems with them rusting on the inside and even blowing the muffler packing out????

Right now, THE pipe to get (full system) is the HPD. Incredible flow, yet controlable sound level. This thing flows HUGE AIR, and that in a real world math problem means great HP!

Now why couldn't they have offered Jetting 101, instead of calculus?

Yeah, the HPD will rock your world. But if you are looking for the less pricey mod, the HMF is an awesome pipe, huge low gains and some on top!! I loved my HMF on my pred. But if you ride in sound restricted areas...it won't pass...that's why I got rid of it...and the only reason too!! HMF makes good pipes and have excellent customer service as well!!

I should add that if you just want the slip-on, myself and others have had great luck with the Pure Polaris/ White Bros unit. Opens the flow, and still keeps sound levels reasonable. Then you could have your head pipe Jet-hot coated.
