Default Sound of pipes

Hey, granted this isnt a very important topic, but i would like to know what kind of sound does a hpd pipe with an rcr stage 1 kit make on a Trailblazer 250. I am just wondering cuz my friend has a blaster with a FMF fatty pipe and it sounds just like my dad's chain saw. What effects the sound? Do 2-strokes and 4-strokes have different sounds? Thanks for your time!

The Polaris 2 stroke has a much different sound then the blaster and banshee. The Polaris is louder and more tingy. Nothing like a chainsaw for sure. If you get a silencer that is more quiet you still get alot of noise from inside the chamber but not from the silencer.

sweet no chain saws, but is it deep and throaty or what? But sofar i am really liking what i am hearing. thanks guys

Whats wrong with chainsaws??? lol JK 4 strokes are deep and throaty, lol, that dosent sound right, however from a two stroke you can expect a higher pitch ring ding ding ding. If youve ever heard a sled...nothing like it sleds go BRAAAAPP....i love that sound. HURRY SNOW HURRY...sorry bout that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If you get ritters exhuast, it's gonna sound like a small airplane at full revs!! LOUD. Get HPD's queit pipe, or intermediate...ritter's is loud!

is there ne thing else that effects the way that the quad sounds? I mean like new carbs, porting, different compression, different fuel. I really like that four stroke sound, but love my quad, is they any way to get that sound on a 2 stroke?

No you cant make a 2-stroke sound like a four-sroke and vice versa..it just dosent work the engines are wayyyyy to different with valves and such. Maybe if you turbo charged your TB...... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

that'd be cool, i saw some guy in a mag. turbo charge his blaster from an old van turbo charger. Does anyone out there know how to do it and how much it would cost?
