I was looking at this exhaust because it was tuneable and I can increase or decrease noise output and power....but how much of a power gain do you get from one? Also which would be better for the money...exhaust or clutch upgrade? Tell me what you guys think.

We used to have the IDS exhaust but then we got the old hpd ugly duckling and it was way better. We didnt tune much, i think we put like no or 1 disk in, but the hpd was worth 2tenths in 300 ft.

I run an IDSII and love it.No pipe is going to do to a 4 strock what it does to a 2stroke.I would go with the Supertrapp and a clutch kit.You can get bothh for what a new HPD would cost.

I've got an IDS2 and am happy with it...as far as power gains----it's some but nothing earth shattering...I'm not sure I'm a good enough rider to really tell that much. I like being able to change the output sound levels with the disk system.

You'd probably notice more difference with a clutch kit....so get both!! ;-)

Thanks for the idea man...I think whenever I do decide to go with a pipe I will go with the IDS2 because it looks to be a little cheaper than the others and a clutch kit sounds like something I would be interested in and if I get the best pipe I probably can't afford both. Anyway I was going to ask you, I was looking at your pics and noticed your hand gaurds on your scrammy.....I've been thinking about getting some to keep my hands a little warmer and to keep them protected from thorns during the summer....where did you get yours and are you satisfied with them? Thanks for the responces....I think I'm going to keep her stock for now but I need some ideas for whenever I do decide to mod.

I think mine are Pure Polaris, bought from a local shop. I like them cause they keep not only roost from hitting you but they do keep a good bit of water/mud off my hands....

Those of you that run the IDS2, how may discs are you running and did you have to rejet and if so what jet? I just bought an IDS2 and was told to run six discs. Not too loud and didnt need a jet change, What do you think? Thanks.

I run 8 disks and rejetted from a 155 to a 160 because I used to run 10 disks...I'm still playing around with it and haven't had time to ride much lately.

HP=$. If you want the best, sometimes you have to fork out a bit more.
