Just some of the things that I've removed for weight:

battery & bracket = 15 lbs.
rear brake and all componets = 10 lbs

thats just a few of the heavy items but my 99TB weighs around 380 lbs
down from 440 lbs.

how'd you cap off the brakes? I was thinking about doing that or splitting the brakes so i can do burnouts when i race asphalt.

Just go to your local hardware store and get the proper size
block off screw that will fit in the junction box. Remove the
line that runs towards the back and install the screw.
You will have to bleed the system!

Dont forget the starter, Front factory bumper, rear sprocket guard, lighter handlebars, lighten flywheel, lighter wheels, oil injection. This all ads up to great weight reduction.

OOPS and factory floorboards. Replace them with nerf bars.

Then if you have done all that you should be down around 350-360. Thats not bad at all for any quad.
