Liablity covers your butt if you hit somebody or something. Also covers you if someone claims you damaged their property in some way. One mistake no matter how small can destroy you financially for the rest of your life. If you ride your quad anywhere off your property you should have at least liablity and a lot of states require it to trail ride on state trails. I don't carry collision cause I don't do enough with my quad to warrant it. I might go trail riding occasionally but nothing major that would put me in a position to bang up my quad. Liablity simply covers my butt if I do hit something and theft I wanted simply cause the four wheelers appear to be a hot item to lift around here. Jay

I have my DS650 Baja through Foremost for about $105/year. A lot of the price difference depends on where you live. Some homeowner policies will cover, but not many. If you're not really tied to living in Jersey, I would suggest moving if possible.

I have my Predator insured through Progressive also $240/yr full coverage. Be careful about adding it onto a home owner's policy, if you read the fine print most of those only cover on premise damage. Which means if you ride it anywhere other than your yard, you won't be covered.
Good Luck,
Ryan
