Default 2004 Mag 330 4 x 4 Gas runs out of the overflow, why?

I'm buying this quad from my brother in-law. After A test ride I noticed that gas was running out of the overflow, also the machine seems to have a hesitation or bog when I was riding. He is telling me its fine, and I am telling him to bring it back to the dealer before we make a deal. What could cause this? I have a 2000 Mag 325 that has always run perfect. Is the 330 a better motor than the 325?

330 is suppose to have 10% more horsepower.

If gas is running out the overflow either there is dirt in the needle and seat or the floats are out of adjustment. Make sure it is the overflow, there was a recall on some of the magnums for a leaky fuel shut off valve.

Dirt in the needle or the float height is not adjusted properly. I would bet on the needle though. Proably a piece of dirt or something keeping it from closing completly. Not a big deal just a pain in the butt. Jay

I hate it when that happens...

At least we are on the same wave length.
