If you were to buy a brand new polaris predator what would be the very first modification you would make to the quad to improve performance? If it were a pipe what is the best one? If it were with the cooling system what is the best set-up for the dollar? or any other mods that you would do first? thanks..........ss

The first thing I would do is buy a FMF power core IV pipe. My cousin bought this for his pred and now I can't keep up with him on my 700!! I don't know if the FMF is the best, but it sure sounds good and it works great!!

I'd start off with some cheap mods, first. Regear it to a 13T on front or 39T on rear. Next, mod the airbox, get a K&N, and rejet. After that I'd get a slip-on pipe and consider suspension mods.
