Default Tires on a tb

Hi, i have asked this question before, but i cant find the answers i got. What would be a good pair of rear tires for a 1999 tb 250. Mudding, draging, snow, soft and hard dirt, and trails all are ridden. I would also like to go a little larger. DOes anyone know the sizes that would fit my stock rim and not require ne body work? I was thinkin bout going with gators, but someone said that mudlites or something like that would work better. Thanks much!

question:why would you want to go larger in size, the stock t.b. is not the quickest quad on the block in stock form, and increasing tire diameter will only make that prob worse....

just a question

How big do you want to go? I would think that you should be able to handle up to 25" tires. But you would want to regear with that size otherwise you will lose a lot of performance. You could go up to an 8" wide tire on the front. The rears are 11" wide. You may be able to go to 12" though? You are going to want a lightweight 6 ply tire for trailriding. The Mudlites would work good.

You still may want to re-gear depending on how big of a tire you go.
