oil filter pricing
Hi from OZ
Just a question about filter pricing. At my local dealer he quoted me 32 dollars for a genuine oil filter for my new sp 400. Needless to say I went around the corner and purchased a baldwin 1402 for 7 dollars. Is this price descrepancy just common to Australia or is there a big difference in prices in the US as well. PS The 1402 is the same filter as a 1400 just longer.

Over here and aftermarket filter runs about $5 and Partsland shows a dealer price of $6.99 as you can see here: 04 SP400 Oil filter. There maybe something to do with importing???
