I like the older Yamaha Enduros , the Suzuki Ts's , and other bikes that were made in that fashion . I like street legal bikes I can cruise off road a bit if I wish . I have no wishes to jump 5 feet in the air or anything like that . I even think turn signals should be in place . ~grin~

Your 71 Dt 250 was quite the technical marvel in the day . That is a nice piece to have around .

Rick

Well i started to clean everything up so far its turning out great...yes i did use those containers and plastic bag thinges,I dont think im going to take the engine and trans out cuz the frame is not all that bad i cleaned it up and it looks good...So far i buffed out the engine and trans it looks real nice...The hole back side is all cleaned up....Next i am going to move to the middle and clean up the rest....Then i am going to move to the front of the quad and start cleaning that up....When im done cleaning all that up real nice im going to start sanding and primering everything then paint it....i dont feel like typing anymore so when i get done with that i will tell you how that proces goes....

I saw a good tip on the Kawi forum the other day. Go buy new plastic, it's real smooth. J/K Really use a heat gun to smooth the scratches out. I have not tried it, but should work. Try in a hidden location first to test. Let us know if it works!
