Default big bore predator

580cc kit gives the pred a good unff, but it is also a lot of work. first i blow my motor, then cracked the sleeve 2. it is a lot of money to get it running right.

Default big bore predator

Sorry to hear that Pred580, I have abused this motor all summer long with no trouble at all. I tested alot of products and several dyno pulls. Just change the oil and fill it up with methanol and she kept right on going. The new motor Superbike is building should be even better, alot better bottom end, better crank case venting, should be alot less rotating mass and big rpm's. Any race engine is more prone to problems. It takes alot of good aftermarket parts to make a stressed out Pred motor stay together. None of the fastest Preds are a off the shelf kits, there's alot more work done than advertised. I run aftermarket rod, billet sleeve, extensive work to the bottom end that I will not detail. There are some quality big bore kits out there, but if race them like we do, it will require more mods to handle the power.
