Carb ?/Gas...
#1
Hey Fella's...
Well I wanted to know, How much do I turn the Screw to Adjust the Idle?
Since my bike wont Idle, It just shuts off...
(& I think I either turn it too much, Or not Enough)
When I hit the Gas it's fine, But I also think the gas has something to do w/ it..
So another ? is, What Octane do you use for your Quad?
I think I'm using to high of octane...
Thanx for any help!!

I run midgrade. But you should be fine with regular. I just like to have a little extra octane. If you are running premium, then you are just wasting money. There is that cable that comes off the carb and has a **** attached to it. It exits just aboove the clutch cover. Is that what you are referring to? It took me awhile to get mine to idle right cuz my cablt broke and I had to replace it. But just keep turning it untill it idles around 1200 RPM (+-200rpm with lights off) Once you turn it, give it a few seconds to respond. It may take awhile

ThX BBS,
Thats what I was Talking about...
But I think the Main Problem Is I'm Using High Octane..
So it keeps Either getting to much fuel, Or not Enough!
So how am I suppost to tell if it's Idles around 1200rpm...
