Scrambler broken swing arm
#1
I just wanted to ask you guys if any of you have broken your swingarm before. I was riding at a low speed and felt what I thought was a broken chain. Stopped looked at my case it wasn't broken, Great!! Wrong instead of a broken chain my swingarm broke completely in half where the shock mount is. The good part of this is I now have 4-wheel steering, HA HA Anybody had this happen to them and if so how much did this cost. I see knew swingarm bearings, both sprockets, chain, swingarm, and who knows what else. Does any know of a aftermarket swingarm that might be stronger, or lighter. So in closing I ask you all to take a moment of silence, this is a very sad day for one scrambler owner.

No there is no weld where it broke. I don't really go big but do do quite a bit of two feet high jumps over whoops and little kickers. I can't believe it broke it really shouldn't of for the riding I was doing last night. I wonder if I could actually weld this back together. I don't have a digi camera or I would load up some pictures to give you all nightmares tonight. Has anyone switched out for an aftermarket swingarm and if so which company and most importantly $$$$.
