MBRP header for the SP700
#1
I have their silencer and was wondering.
Has anyone tried their new header yet?
Just got off the phone with them, its a typo on their web sight. Couldn't get the two pipe header to work the way they wanted it to. = No header by them as of yet for the SP700. Will have two into one made sometime in the future, when ever that may be

I am quite happy with my MBRP silencer. I had an Aaen prior to it but the sound was just to shrill for me, the MBRP has a lower rumble to it- think Harley. I ran both pipes past a DB meter amd the MBRP was 1 DB quiter then the Aaen, it was 98 DB.
Spend the $$ I dont think you would be disapointed.

Got the silencer on my 700, and I like it, I really like the Fast and furious type sound it makes, much better than the stock sound... A word of caution, though if you ride the mud a lot and get the end of the muffler in the mud, you can COMPLETELY block off the "spark arrester screen" in the end of the muffler. I did on mine and had to rip out the spark arrester screen to get the thing home.
OoH, I called MBRP and checked about the headerpipe, and they have pulled that product from sales. It is still listed on the website, but it will not be available until the spring at the earliest.
Bummer I really want a SS headpipe on my 700 I think it will look really cool.

Had my screen get plugged also. For me it happened slowly, talk about trying to figure out why the heck the bike was acting like a dog. You name it I messed with it off and on, unfortunetly I did all my messing on the intake side. Jetting, needle, air filter ect. I always saw some gunk on the spark arrestor but didn't pay atention to it. THEN the light bulb lit up. Unscrewed the screen, washed it off in a puddle and it was like a brand new wheeler again!
