WHAT WOULD YOU DO????

Default WHAT WOULD YOU DO????

i just bought my 26" Mudlites on the c-series aluminums and put them on my 99 sportsman.(I LOVE IT BY THE WAY) only problems is the fronts rub the fender when the shocks get compressed or when i go through a ditch( the fender is rubbed right where your toe is pointing when you ride) what can i do to prevent this?????? any ideas-anyone had this problem? thanks in advance, PB 500

Your not alone. All of us that have upgraded to larger tires have rubbing on the fenders. HD springs help, combine that with a lift kit and that should solve the problem. My semi-fix is a Wayne Gretzky (hockey puck cut in half) lift kit with HD springs. My total lift is approx 1 1/2" at the bumper but still rubs when it hits hard. An after-market lift kit will give you a 2" lift so less chance of it rubbing.

Default WHAT WOULD YOU DO????

I run 27” Blackwater X/Ts and Progressive springs with the preset at max. I have never heard the dreaded tire to fender grind and I ride very aggressively. It looks like I could easily run 28s with no problems in ride height. I’m assuming that the preset on the springs is protecting me. ......Just my 2 cents.
