Default trailblazer for jumping?

hey how high could a trailblazer be ok for jumping? Cause on mine we have a ramp that puts in in the air about 5-10 feet, is this OK or is it hurting the machine?

ALso if its OK then does anyone have any tips for jumping? Like I figured out that you have to accelerate as your go up that jump and pull up on the handlebars or youll do a nosedive, any other tips to make it easier?

I have jump mine 19 feet by accident. 20 feet and I would have cleared the creek. You can jump them, especially if they are modded, but the frame is what i would be concerned about. You would need to strenghten it somehow, it's not really designed for repeated jumping. The best tip I can give you is to know where you are on the trail. I would have saved my self 4 scars and a broken rib if I had known which jump I was on. Thought I only needed to clear 10 feet. Ouch Also check this sight out, he has tips on it. http://www.douggust.com/

IT is ONLY good for jumping if you get a chain tensioner!!!!! In fact me and my bud were out riding yesterday and jumping a small jump(about 3-5ft of air) When he jumped as soon as he hit the ground with his tb 250 the chain snaped.. I have a chain tensioner and i have had no probs jumping at all.. If your going to jump you will need one....

trailriders right in a way u really should have a chain tensor. i have been through 3 chains and 2 sprockets from jumping. no problems with the frame yet though. i was a the traxx motorsports track this summer in pennsylvania and i was hittin tabbletops and believe it or not clearing them. the highest jump i hit was probably about 10 feet high and then made it over about a 14 foot gap but heard a weird noise when i landed.

Listen to me , It's good for 5 feet or more but, IT ISN"T MADE FOR IT.I have had my 400 about 20 feet in the air before but, i have over $3000.00 into the thing. I have broken 2 scrammy frames And both are not wroth fixxing. Try to jump jumps with down hill landings this will sofen the landings.
Also cruz into the jump mid thottle ten goose the gas as you are going up the face of the jump . stay on the gas though the whole face. this will keep the front up.
Remember this: on the gas in the air makes the rear drop.
Off the gas and on the rear brake make the front drop.
You can also change yourself in the air by pushing or pulling on the bars.
