Default connecting rods

does anyone know if the rod from a 250 is the same as a 300 these being two strokes

polaris makes a 300 2-stroke...
or do you mean a 250 bored to a 300?
if bored out then yes they are the same.

EPI shows all the 250's and 300's up to '99 being the same rod kit.

Wiseco shows the biggest 250 piston being a 2.00mm (0.080").
Taking the formula of:

[bore X bore X stroke X 0.0031416] / 4

250cc bore = 72mm (std), 74mm (2.00mm over)
250cc stroke = 60mm
72mm bore : [72 X 72 X 60 X 0.0031416] = 977.1633 then divide by 4 = 244.29cc's
74mm bore : [74 X 74 X 60 X 0.0031416] = 1032.2041 then divide by 4 = 258.05cc's

The connecting rod , the bearing , the thrust washers , and the pin are the same between a 250 and 300 two-stroke .

The main bearings (the ones the crankshaft spins on ) are different .
