I just bought a '00 Trail Blazer. I have read about them and I read that it had a fan assis. cooling. It dont. I also read the left handle bar brake stopped all for wheels. It dont. Then they tell every one they are chain driven. When they are really BELT driven. Whats up?

1. Trail Boss not Trail Blazer has the fan assist cooling.
2. The final drive is chain(from trans to axle).The clutch is belt driven.
3. The handle bar lever does work all four wheels.If it doesn't take it back and tell them to fix it.
Not trying to be smart but did you not look at it before you purchased?I have a '00 Blazer and i love it.Happy motoring!

The fan they refer to is part of the PVT system. Notice the big black clutch cover on the left side of your machine. Now, notice the pipe right above it. Follow it from the big black clutch cover to where it almost meets the engine. Start your Trailblazer up and feel the air coming out of it. If it is at least strong enough to push acorns out of the clutch cover (and it is) is should be strong enough to cool your engine.
