Default Extended Warranties - Worth it?

I am getting ready to take the plunge and buy a new Sportsman 700. Are the extended warranties worth the price? How many years do you normally buy?

some will swear by the them.

for me, i've priced them and passed. i've never had a major problem with any of my Sportsmans over the years. bought my first one in '98 or '99.

Is the EFI worth the price difference?

I believe the efi is about 400 to 500 more bucks...i don't have one but this is one hell of an improvement...I have read where below zero, the machine starts right up and sits there and idles.....no jetting required for altitudes.....efi is the wave of the future....you will see more and more of it to come

I live in an area where it very rarely gets below freezing and we ride on private property. I hate to sound like a pansy, but if it is that cold, I'm not rididng. In my situation, would I benefit from EFI?

I know you'll benifit from it, just not sure it will be to the tune of $500. If it were me and I had the choice I would get EFI. You may have this quad for many years and who knows where all you'll end up going with it.

its fuel injection so u never have to rejet. so if u travel to different elavations and climates with the quad then its worth it. unless u dont mind rejetting.

I checked with the dealer, price difference is $700 for the EFI - still worth it?
