Default Extended Warranties - Worth it?

If you're seriously interested in the EFI, I would get the extended warranty. Mainly because it's a first year model, and it's going to have some kind of problem (all first years do). If I had a problem with my carb, I would probrably rebuild or replace with a bigger one. Not really going to be an option like that for the 700 EFI (yet). With mine, I didn't get the extended warranty just so I would have an excuse to buy mods for it. Unfortunately, nothing has broke. Guess I'll have run 'em harder.

This is a good topic for a post. I wish I would have had a extended warranty when my counterbalancer blew! Way over the price of a extended warranty. It also depends on how well your dealer will stick up for you on extended warranty repairs.
