what kind and how much oil go in the counterbalence
and what about the transmission oil what does it take and how much thanks for any responses

 

The counterbalancer will hold approx 70cc's.And you can use 10w30 or synthetic.For the tranny i usually just buy the polaris synthetic,a quart would be plenty,just check the dipstick.

 

if it's any help i use 10-30 amsoil in the counterbalance and amsoil chaincase lube in the tranny, amsoil atf in the hubs, 75-90 wt amsoil gear lube in the diff and amsoil series 2000 2-stroke racing oil in the tank. no probs yet. some people swear buy the polaris stuff but i have only used it when it came in the bike new so i can't really say about the factory stuff.

is there something that will work for the tranny besides the polaris synthetic? i was wanting to do it tonight and there is not a polaris dealer open..

 

so are you just using 10-30 synthetic in the tranny?

 

He is using Amsoil chaincase lube in the tranny.
