mtpockets sp700 efi review

It is my belief that the EFI will make its way down Polaris' line of ATV's aqnd eventually make its way to the SP500. Then it could be adapted to the scram. The SP700's EFI wouldnt work on the scram. The head, and cam would never work. Plus, it would be pretty expensive right now

I hate to be nosey but I was wondering how much you paid for you EFI? My local dealer is telling me the msrp $7900 but since I bought an 03 from them he said he would sell it to me for $7400. I found out alot from this forum that I paid way to much for my camo 03 700. RETAIL $7900 but got the push bar and double bumper thrown in for free. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to buy one soon. Thanks in advance.

Hello DBass,
I talked to Pug at the Polaris dealership in Chattanooga TN. He gave me an OUT-THE-DOOR price of $6599.00 for an 04.5 sp700 EFI. I then went to my local dealer (who has already given me a price of $8432.00) and asked if they could compete with Chattanooga's price. After 15 minutes, he came back to me and gave me a matching price of $6599.00 for the ATV, and added $100.00 on for setup. I was fine with the $100.00 setup fee because it would have cost me about that to drive to TN.
Good luck in your future purchase and don't forget to shop around.

Traded horses,
I appreciate the reply. I was wondering if any other dealers would match that price. That is over $1500 less out the door price than what my dealer told me after taxes. I printed off Tenn.'s inventory price list and intend on taking it with me to my dealer. Maybe they will match it. Thanks again.

Hey guys! Thanks again for your help. I went to my dealer this weekend.... the price he gave me was $7400. He said that the guys Tenn. tack on freight, assembly, etc. on to the $6600 price. From reading the post by TradedHorses it looks as though my dealer was giving me the run around. Here's what I found out... EFI-$7400, brushguard-$129.99, rear bumper-$99.99, tire swap (factory set (tires & rims) for 27" 589s and ultra bright ITP c-series rims)- $450, wench (promo)- $49.99, and warranty (4 years no detuctable) - $650, then add tax (7%). I believe that I'm getting screwed on this deal. I intend to talk to him again and get a better price. Any ideas and help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
