I own a 2000 trailblazer and i put a DG pipe on it does anybody know the best mainjet for it and do i have to move the clip. Im also thinking about a clutch kit, will the pipe with a clutch kit make a difference.

I ran a DG pipe on my wife's TB with a K&N filter. Used a 160 for the main.

The DG pipe is the worst mod that you can do to a trailblazer. The reason for this is because all good pipes have to have a clutch kit to match the powerband of the pipe. DG does not make clutch kits. They dont even have a very big power band. They say it will give a 5percent gain on hp. Well 5 percent of 22hp is 1.1hp. While other pipes give you a gain of about 8 hp. The DG pipe actually lost hp on the dyno when tested. They pretty much a stock pipe that looks good but thats it. There is nothing you can do with that pipe to make the 250 run any quicker except hang it on the wall for an ornament. ANYONE here can tell you the same thing. DG sucks for Polaris 2 strokes. If you must use the pipe then a 140 main will do you fine but dont expect ANY gains. Just looks and noise. Trust me I have a highly moded TB that can beat 400 scrammys and I have gone through alot of trial and error to get here. Just because you save a few bucks does not mean you got a deal. Best advise is ditch the DG and get an HPD or AAEN pipe.

When we put the DG pipe on we did notice a bit of increase in power, And use to sound like a giant bee ! The HPD we have now looks much better and sounds great. As for jetting I think it has a lot to do on altitude,I'm sure my jetting here in AZ would be differant than in Wisconsin.
