Default proper air screw adjustment?

How do you properly adjust the air screw on the stock carb on a 2002 scrambler 400 2x4. The manual just says 1.5 turns out. I have a pipe, clutch kit, K&N, and V-Force reeds.

Default proper air screw adjustment?

Turning the screw in limits the air and richens the mixture. I normally go 1/4 turn at a time. W/ the mods I'd go at least 1/4 if not 1/2. You'll know when it gets too rich.
