Yeh, I don't know why not but the forestry service may have something to say that you might not like. In high school autoshop we had a motor on a stand that had a spark plug in the exhaust it was pretty cool when the instructor would light it off. But that was in a controlled enviroment.

 

Nothing like burning down the trail...lol
