Default 250 Blazer Mixture

When I got My 01 250 blazer the air screw was turned all the way in. I took it out 2.5 turns and it started bogging so I put it back in 1 turn. It seems to run ok now but I wanted to know what would hapen if I was running it to lean. Would it cause the engine to overheat or would it just kill the power? Any advice would be appreciated.

running lean will make the engine over heat if there is not a enough fuel to keep the piston cool it may seize or melt a hole through it i have seen it happen it isn't pretty

you will want to run a 14.7 ratio of fuel and air 14 parts air and .7 parts fuel 13.1 or 12.1 is also good
