i ride with one blaster, two piped warriors, two express 400's, one 300ex, a sportsman 500 and one shee.
i forgot to make the point that if i go with az bad boyz the stroker can come later on to take care of that pesky shee but then again how many times will i be draggin him. if i re gear and get the rcr stage one, bubba porting, lightened flywheel, and 34 mm carb i would be able to take them all but the shee right? i mean its about 625 dollars for all fo this (re gear and get the rcr stage one, bubba porting, lightened flywheel, and 34 mm carb) and for the az bad boyz its about 1225 for it all including hpd pipe and aggressive clutch kit (dennis said to get that one) and gearing. thats a big difference, but if i go that route i can stroke it later and then i could take that shee until he mods his. so tell me what u all think this is really helpin thanks, scott

In my opinion, having a stroker 250 is just being able to say you have a fast 250 trailblazer, that's it. They dont compare to the other fast sport quads such as the LT or Honda 250r. Maybe fast for a trailblazer, but still it is air cooled and in a heavy bulky frame. That's why I wouldnt drop that much money into one. I didnt own a 250 6 months before going to the 400 a few years back. The 400's have the grunt and all around power, and are liquid cooled. Now in stock form the 250's are pretty gutless and need at least a pipe and some porting to wake them up. I dont like putting the big roundslide off the scrammy on them, instead putting a flatslide carb in it's place works much better. I am not against modding a 250 at all, it's just if you start putting a lot of money into one then in the end you could have a 400 instead. And a trail modded 400 is extremely reliable and wont be outrun by a 250, even a stroker. Just food for thought. I dont mind helping anyone anyway I can.Bubba

Bubba call me we realy need to get together and you need to see on of these 250 strokers run you will be surprized. And if you look at the $ difference betwwen the 400 and how cheep you can get a 250 for I think it is a good investment. I would not build them if it was not. I am nnot joking around and I am not mad at all. I just need to get you on one of these and you will be very impressed. Like I said we need to get together on my next trip back east. Heck, count me in anytime. Kinda funny, I was wondering when you might chime in on that note The only reason for my post really was to point out to the younger guys that dont have a lot of money to spend that they can be easy on the pocket books and get some performance. I am sure that with a 7mm increase in stroke that the 250's will run extremely well. Would it surprise me, I'm sure, and I would love to ride one. I'm not here to take work away from any of you guys that make a living. I just enjoy helping at a good cost and like to answer any questions I can. Chances are if you had that stroker going full bore before I ever went race mod with my old sport, then things would probably be different right now. Keep up the good work!
