Default clutch kit for 02 sportsman 400

Kushman...
You've got my attention! It sounds like you have your 400 clutch set up exactly as I have envisioned mine should be. Could you provide a link or address to this "Cob" you guys refer to? Also, regarding engine braking, are you seeing improved braking performance by way of the Heelclick? Does your 400 have the optional EBS, mine does not as I assumed it was part of all Polaris Sportsman and didn't realize till I got it home and saw that it is listed as an accessory. It was the ONLY place my homework didn't take me before buying. I'm debating on having EBS added. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.

You can find cob at www.atvquadsquad.com Just go to the Polaris forum and click on the thread "Want to buy a heelclicker."

I don't believe the 04 400 has EBS as an option,,,,i could be wrong....setting your secondary to 1 to 1 will give you some backshift (engine braking) but its only rear wheels that have braking

I believe that i saw a post from you this morning on the "squad" ...Cob will fix you right up

So I'll take that as you don't have EBS. I'm pretty sure that the '04 has the "accessory" option. At least that is what their brochure states and when I discussed it breifly with the service writer, he seemed to think it was available. As you probably read my "Rant" about the dealer, I'll take that with a grain of salt!

Would you consider the braking action that is added by your HC sufficient for your needs? It was me over at the squad and I haven't received a reply from Cob as of yet so we'll see where it goes.
