Does Polaris still make the explorer?

My friend has the 2000 xplorer. He paid 5150.00 for it in Wagner Oklahoma. The concentric (in my opinon) doesn't seem a whole-lot better. But the 2000 has only the rear chain,so that is a nice improvement. take care Polcat

Thanks polecat. That's where I got mine. $5275 with front and back racks and front and back bumpers. Nice atv. I think I'll just wait till I get mine paid for and get me a 400 Scrambler. I would have got one to start ,but I didn't like not having low range for hunting. Love the Scrambler though. In my opinion the best sport 4wd so far.

u must have some "inside" information how do u know that there will not be a scrambler 400 for 2001. the only thing polaris has said about any 2001 models are the DUSE sportsman, sc500 4x2, and the kids machines. any other 2001 models will be introduces at the dealer show.
so will there be a sp700 or not? according to rancheres there wont be.

im begining to think that polcat either works for polaris or is making this stuff up.

There will be a 700 SP released. Definate date is unknown. (Don't hold your breath.) The SP sells better than the Scrambler, So from a business stand-point Polaris HAS to make the 700 SP first.Plus, with Honda getting the rave reviews with their Rubicon; Polaris is going to up the ante . take care Polcat
