Anyone know if it would hurt to put a 50 foot cable on my T1500 winch?? ... has 25 feet now.

No problem; however, with a longer cable on any winch, you lose some pull force from the outer windings, i.e., the farther out the cable is from the spool center, the less extraction leverage. Make sense?
