Default SP 500 springs on SP 400

I have heard the 500 springs will fit without a problem on the SP 400. Is this true??? I heard it will stop the nose dive when you put the breaks on and will also help with the wieght of my Glacier plow. I have the spring spacers in but they didn't do much. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Default SP 500 springs on SP 400

Partsland shows the part # the same between the SP500 and SP400 springs so there is no difference between the two. The SP700 part # is different though. It may be a heavier duty spring? Or, Polaris makes a heavy duty spring for the SP400 and SP500 that you can get from your dealer
