Question for anyone...

Who has mounted Aaen's carb kit on a Scrambler? The throttle cable comes out from the taller carb very close to the tank. I am experiencing a little binding WITHOUT a 90 degree cable.

Does anyone know where I can get a cable with a 90 degree turn? OR how have you addressed the cable out of carb issue?

 

Are you mounting a 40mm on your scrambler the stock is a 40. I got the 42mm kit and it came with a differt cable but i havent put it on yet

 

Yes, it must be the 42, the flat side carb.

The cable routing is just too tight to be reliable out the top of the carb to the gas tank.

I am looking for a 90 degree turn on a mikuni cable.
