Default TB250 And Overheating

Has anyone managed to cook their Trailblazer 250. If so what did it take to do it. I know this sounds like a daft question but with it being air cooled I am very paranoid about it. In Scotland at the moment temps outside are around freezing so it won't or shouldn't happen no matter how hard I push it but come summer I will be a bit more worried. Has anyone fitted a cooling fan? if so which one did you get. If I am just being stupid and worrying about nothing then please tell me.

Thanks

Around here it's 100 plus degrees in the summer and I ride it hard for long periods. Never had a promblem. The 250 has been around for a long time and if there was a promblem. They would have come up with something to fix it. Dont worry about it.

Yeah, you CAN have problems. With the trailblazer being air cooled, when you ride hard, especially in hot temps, it has no way of cooling down the engine but the air that passes through/by it. From my experience, I would shut it off when your not riding. In other words, don't let it idle after you rode it. Letting it idle after it has been hot will score a piston. Brad
