Did you smell burnt rubber? It could be the belt

Maybe thats just your chain clickin against the chain slider because mine used to click untill i tightened the chain a little bit but i think its your belt. Pull the PVT cover off and check the belt.

Yes! absolutely would... You can check the belt very easily, just take the clutch cover off and look at it. The clutch cover is the big black bulky plastic cover on the left side of the bike located at your left foot. Just remove the screws and strap on the vent tube and it should come off easily.

no its not the chain it does it at low speed I had to drive slow as hell back to the trailer because of it. I am hoping it is just the belt....but they said its wear and tear and isnt covered......maybe cuz its like 3 weeks old I can see what they can do.

You wore a groove in your belt from the clutch spinning, but the belt did not. Now, every time the belt makes a revolution, it thumps, or clunks when the groove goes around the clutch pulley.

Hey, Polaris has a limited lifetime warranty on their belts....at least my Sportsman does. Dealer said the first, second, and third are "on them" after that, you're blowin' it....buy your own!

But like all warranties it dose not cover abuse I think you will by buying a belt.
