Default HPD HPD steering damper for Predator

I just Put on a HPD steering damper on my Predator.
ALL I can say is it is the best mod I made so far(for now).IT is like having better shocks and steering. What I mean is it really Soaked up the shock of the Harsh woops.I notice that I cold ride faster over bad Trails. It really made the Front shock Work better because i wasn't feeling the feedback of the terrain.
ALSO I FEEL EVERYONE WHO RIDES A PREDATOR SHOULD OWN ONE!
THIS THING REALLY MADE THE HIGH TECH STEERING WORK LIKE IT SHOULD. It was really impressive in high speed turns.I would start my turn and just point where I wanted to go and i would go there, with NO FEEDBACK.It helped so i could keep the power on in the turns. This was because There was no over steering,Which causes over-sliding,which allowed me to go faster. The slide happy Pred really liked it,it Made the steering Less twitchy, and more traction was Put to the ground.IT IS REALLY EASY TO OVERSTEER A PRED WITHOUT THE DAMPER.THAT CAUSES OVERSLIDING. THE DAMPER FIXES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW I CAN TAKE TURNS BETTER THEN ANYONE.

I am considering either a HPD or Denton. I definately want a rebuildable one. How much does the HPD unit run?

It's $139.00 But i got it for $100.00 though my sponcer.
I would get one if I was you IT really makes the Pro steering work the way it should.
ALSO For us guys who are getting older,It takes away some wrist, hand, and arm pain that is cause by terrain feedback.
IT"S WORTH IT --YOUR PRED WILL THANK YOU FOR IT.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is where HPD tells you to mount it. I turned the brackets around and put it lower on the post and frame so it was protected by the Bumper

Ditto on the rave over steering dampners.

I've run the denton 7 way click adjust on my last 3 quads, and as others have said they're a great investment and you wonder how you rode without them before.......

turn it up to click 4-5 for running on 3-4 inch chop in the dunes that you can blast through without the bars getting ripped out of your hands,,,,,,,,,,,,,

or on click 2-3 when you peg that basketball sized rock or log in the tight woods trail, it really takes the jarring out and your death grip arm pump really is reduced.

YES THIS THING REALLY SAVES THE WRISTS, THE THUMB AND THE ARM.
IT was easy to put on and took only about 10 minutes.
